||The Aerotropolis consists of an airport city core and outlying corridors and clusters of aviation-linked businesses. The proposed project is in conjunction with the Kannur International airport. The three major components of Kannur Aerotropolis includes Traditional Industries (Marine Product Processing, Cashew Processing, Coir Processing, Plywood, Spices, Silk production, Handloom & Textile, Coffee Processing, Handicrafts, Floriculture), Induced Industries ( Aviation MRO, Aerospace Manufacturing, Aviation Institute, Gems & Jewelry, Logistics) and Real Estate
||The proposed project is to be build an elevated expressway across the State from Kasaragod to Kosalam along the western side of National Waterway III that can link major district capitals, airports, major ports, and transshipment terminals. The advantages of Elevated Highways are manifold such as the pedestals of elevated highways will occupy only two to three meters on the ground and since minimal land acquisition is involved, the work can be commenced immediately.

||The aim of the project is to develop and enhance the existing maritime cluster at par with leading international maritime centers and develop a policy guideline for functioning of the maritime cluster. The proposed project consists of development/enhancement of Core Services ( International Ship Repair Terminal, Boat Manufacturing & Repair, Port Modernization, Ship management services), Finance& Regulatory Services and Others (Port led Industrial park, Cruise Tourism, Water Sport activities at Marina and Maritime Museum).

||In the proposed project is to develop the basic infrastructural facilities like the heliport and helipad. Kerala has been divided into 3 circuits and the project intends to link up tourist destinations in these three circuits. Cochin is proposed as the Central Hub (Heliport) to base the operations with 18 helipads all over Kerala in all the districts. The possibilities of using the helicopter service network for allied usages identified were Disaster Relief, Emergency Medical Services or Air Ambulance Services, Police Services cum Airborne Law Enforcement, Moving VIPs & High-Value Assets, Search and Rescue Operations, Agricultural Operations etc.

||Small Hydro Projects
||The proposed project comprises construction and operation of 12 Small Hydro Projects (SHP) across different locations in Kerala under Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB). These projects are planned to be developed in IPP mode. The combined capacity of 59 MW plants will generate 133.5 GWh annually. The projects have potential to meet power requirements of remote and isolated areas.

||Free Trade Warehousing Zone
||The proposed Free Trade Warehousing Zone in Vizhinjam is to be developed in lines of a special economic zone. The activities permitted within the zone would be limited to packing, de-stuffing, splitting, and other activities related to storage and logistics. Proposed FTWZ is a 100000 sq. m facility, which will include customized warehouses for food products, electronics, chemicals, textiles etc. along with cold storage facility, controlled humidity warehouses, enhanced transportation facilities and a well-equipped IT-integrated cargo management system
||Port based Cruise Tourism
||The proposed new cruise terminal which is planned to be developed in the next phase of the development is for cruises with 3000 passenger capacity equipped with facilities for international immigration standard operating procedures. This project puts forth opportunities for offering various cruise operators, cruise and passenger services at the Vizhinjam Port, as a Port of Call
||This is a project proposed under the Affordable Housing scheme which aims to build houses for families without land or housing. Innovative home construction methods are to be deployed for construction of these houses.
||Wayanad Tunnel Road
||The proposed two-lane tunnel road (Churam-Badal Road) is an alternative to ferry traffic in one direction. It is seen that the distance savings between destinations by this road project is very significant. The proposed Tunnel Road will be an all-weather road, free of constraints of road geometry and also free from landslides, thereby providing a path for reliable and safe transit for passengers and freight.
||Wayanad (Anakkampoyil to Meppadi through Kalladi)
||The proposed project will take place in two phases. In the initial phase the entire land required has to be acquired and the minimum facilities are to be provided. In the second phase the minimum facilities provided would be further developed.
||Azhikkal Port is a minor fishery port in Azhikkal village, Kannur District. Government of Kerala, in collaboration with private sector, encourages setting up of new port facilities, support infrastructure & upgradation of existing facilities along with installation of modern & efficient handling equipment. Development of the existing minor Azhikkal port into a medium, all-weather port is in congruence with the same intent. Azhikkal port development also falls under the purview of the Central Government sponsored National Maritime Development Program (NMDP).
||The proposed project is to develop Ponnani port in PPP mode on BOT basis, and through the Swiss Challenge Method. Key commodities envisaged in the port traffic include: Coal, Steel, Cement and Container. And hence, three categories of vessels are proposed for the port – dry bulk carriers (40,000 DWT), general cargo carriers (between 20001 DWT and 30000 DWT), container carriers (between 1667 TEU and 2500 TEU).
